The GLACIER shelf draws inspiration from the dynamic interiors of glacial ice caves, where melting and refreezing sculpt dramatic, organic forms. Designed to be both functional and artistic, its 3D texture offers a unique display space, creating a unique interplay of depth, light, and shadow. More than just a shelf, it transforms any wall into a showcase of movement and tranquility—combining sculptural presence with everyday practicality.
Each Stratum piece is made to order, crafted with a deep focus on personalization and bespoke details. Our process ensures every element is meticulously refined, with an average lead time of 6–8 weeks, depending on complexity. For delivery, we always prioritize in-person handoff whenever possible, ensuring your piece arrives safely and as intended. For longer distances, we coordinate secure shipping tailored to your location.
Our primary material is sustainably sourced Baltic birch, valued for its strength, stability, and modern aesthetic. We complement this with high-quality wood veneers and select solid noble woods, used sparingly to enhance each piece with depth and character. While these materials form the foundation of our work, we’re always open to exploring new possibilities—personalization is at the heart of what we do.
